TotalEnergies Signs 15-Year Deal With Energia Natural Dominicana to Deliver 400,000 Tons of LNG Annually

TotalEnergies (TTE) said Tuesday it has signed a 15-year deal with Energia Natural Dominicana to deliver 400,000 tons of liquefied natural gas annually.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

The agreement is slated to start in mid-2027, the company said, adding that Energia will supply natural gas to the Dominican Republic's 470 megawatts combined-cycle power plant.

Energia Natural is a Dominican Republic-based joint venture between AES Dominicana and Energas, TotalEnergies added.

Shares of TotalEnergies were up almost 1% in recent Tuesday trading.
