Conduent (CNDT) has incurred material non-recurring expenses in Q1 linked to a cyber incident in January, the company said in a regulatory filing late Monday.
On Jan. 13, attackers gained access to a "limited portion" of Conduent's systems, the company said, adding it restored the systems and returned to "normal operations within days, and in some cases, hours."
The attackers extracted files related to some of Conduent's clients and some data contained a "significant number of individuals' personal information associated with [its] clients' end-users," the company said.
Conduent said its customers are being informed to determine the next steps, as required by law.
