HITIQ withdraws additional AU$220,000 from loan facility; Shares Rise 17%

HITIQ (ASX:HIQ) has withdrawn an additional AU$220,000 under its secured loan facility with Rockford RDF, bringing total funds drawn to AU$1 million, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The loan is backed by the company's expected research and development tax incentive with payment expected upon receipt of the refund on or before Dec. 31, the filing said.

Shares of the company rose 17% in recent Monday trade.
