Cal-Maine Foods (CALM) said late Tuesday an underwritten public offering of about 3 million shares of common stock held by certain family members of the company's founder, Fred R. Adams, Jr., has been priced at $92.75 per share.
The company also agreed to purchase $50 million worth of shares, or 551,876 shares, from the secondary offering pursuant to the company's existing $500 million share repurchase program.
Closing of the offering is expected to occur on April 17, subject to customary conditions.
