PANews 4月14日消息，据Bitcoin.com报道，美国民主党参议员Sheldon Whitehouse和John Fetterman提出《2025年清洁云法案》，旨在对超环境标准的加密货币挖矿和AI数据中心设定区域排放限制并施以经济处罚，以应对数字基础设施能耗攀升问题。法案要求使用超100千瓦电力的设施每年报告电力来源、消耗数据及排放强度。
该法案为美国各地区设定排放基准，逐年递减至2035年归零。超标电力公司和设施自2026年起，每超1千瓦时罚款20美元，并随通胀调整。所筹资金用于支持清洁能源项目、消费者能源补贴及项目管理。零碳能源供电设施可豁免。法案还要求公开设施能源数据，同时保护专有消耗数据，已提交至某参议院委员会，并含可分割条款，确保部分条款被否后其余仍有效。
