Korea Electric Power (KRX:015760) signed a memorandum of understanding with Vietnam's state-run power transmission company to collaborate on power grid development and new energy industries.
The agreement was part of a broader scenario to boost bilateral energy ties during ministerial meetings held in Hanoi, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said Tuesday.
Shares of Korea Electric Power rose more than 2% in recent trade.
