路透4月14日 - 彭博新闻周一援引知情人士的话报导称，意大利亿万富翁吉安路易吉·阿庞特（Gianluigi Aponte）的家族企业正在成为一个从长江和记0001.HK手中收购 43 个港口的财团的主要投资者 。
据彭博报导，阿庞特家族的码头投资有限公司（Terminal Investment Ltd，简称 TIL）的网站显示其拥有多元化的货柜码头组合，一旦交易完成，该公司将成为所有港口的唯一所有者，但巴拿马的两个港口除外，这两个港口将由贝莱德(Blackrock)控制。
贝莱德的 Global Infrastructure Partners 将拥有巴拿马运河附近两个港口 51% 的股份，而 TIL 将拥有其余股份。
