明尼阿波利斯联储行长Neel Kashkari称，在投资者厘清特朗普不断变化的贸易政策之际，相信市场将保持有序运行。他表示，美联储必须将重心继续放在稳定通胀预期上。
10年期美债收益率过去一周大幅飙升，Kashkari称美国的贸易和财政政策将决定该数字的走向。
“在美联储，我们的工作是确保通胀受控，使通胀率不至于更高，”周日他在一档节目中表示。
Kashkari等美联储决策者上周暗示，即使劳动力市场进一步走软，他们也准备维持政策利率不变，以尽量减少特朗普关税引发通胀持续上升的风险。
在公开评论和采访中，一些官员发出了明确信号，排除了降息的可能性。降息可作为应对关税引发经济放缓的保险政策。
Kashkari向CBS表示，“我认为美国和世界各地的投资者正试图搞清楚美国的新常态是什么”，而美联储“没有能力影响这一点”。
“我们能做的只有保持通胀预期稳定，并管理好这一过程中的一些起起伏伏，”他说。
当被问及市场是否有序时，Kashkari回答说“是的”。他补充道，市场出现波动也是意料之中，因为市场参与者“在试图把握这一切将何去何从”。
“但市场在运作，交易在发生，我预计这种情况会继续下去，”他表示。
