Starbucks Updating Barista Dress Code in North America

Starbucks (SBUX) said Monday it is updating its dress code for baristas across North America stores starting May 12 for "a more consistent coffeehouse experience."

The company said its updated dress code, which allows its "iconic green apron to shine," includes any solid black shirts and any shade of khaki, black or blue denim bottoms.

Starbucks added that employees will receive two new company-branded t-shirts at no cost.
