消息面上，友邦保险公布，公司已于2025年4月11日与一家享誉国际的独立经纪商订立协议。 根据该经纪协议，经纪商获委任全权运作股份回购计划。 经纪商将根据预定参数执行所有回购，并独立于公司及其关联人士行事，且不受彼等的影响。
根据经纪协议，公司已同意预定参数供经纪商在香港联合交易所有限公司回购最高可达16亿美元（相当于124.36亿港币）的公司股份。除非根据经纪协议的条款修改或终止，自动股份回购计划的持续期限自计划开始之日起最长为三个月。
