BlockBeats 消息，4 月 18 日，据 Cointelegraph 报道，加密研究机构 Galaxy Research 在 Solana 社区提出“多轮选举质押权重聚合机制”（Multiple Election Stake-Weight Aggregation，简称 MESA）提案，旨在降低 SOL 的通胀率。研究人员将该提案描述为一种“更具市场导向的方式，用于确定未来 SOL 通胀率”。
与传统的“赞成/反对”二元投票不同，MESA 允许验证者对多个通胀下调幅度进行投票，最终结果则通过加权平均得出。Galaxy 表示：“与其不断更换通胀下调方案直到某一项通过，不如允许验证者对一个或多个提案分配投票权重，然后将所有“赞成”票的加权结果作为最终的发行曲线。”
该机制的灵感来源于此前的提案 SIMD-228。尽管社区普遍支持降低 SOL 通胀率，但由于二元投票机制难以就具体参数达成共识，导致该提案未能通过。
