周四，道琼斯指数成为最新一个出现“死亡交叉”的美国主要股指。道琼斯市场数据显示，这是道指自2023年11月以来首次在价格图表上出现这一不祥信号。道指收盘下跌527.16点，跌幅1.3%，报39142.23点。
道指出现“死亡交叉”的几天前，标普500指数和纳斯达克综合指数也发出了类似信号。今年3月，罗素2000指数也出现了这种情形。
技术分析师将“死亡交叉”视为不祥信号。当某项资产或指数的50天移动平均线跌破200天移动平均线时，就会出现死亡交叉。这通常被认为是回调可能演变成更猛烈下跌趋势的迹象。
不过，从历史数据来看，投资者没有太多理由感到担忧。过去，在出现死亡交叉之后，标普500指数和纳斯达克指数的表现有升有降。平均而言，接下来一个月会出现更大规模下跌，但到六个月时，回报率又恢复正值。就道指而言，出现死亡交叉后的表现一直为上涨，即使在短期内也是如此。
道琼斯的数据追踪了自1950年以来每次出现死亡交叉后的表现，结果显示，一周后道指略有上涨，之后涨幅甚至更大。在过去20次出现死亡交叉之后，平均而言道指的表现甚至更为强劲。
eToro的美国投资和期权分析师布雷特-肯韦尔（Bret Kenwell）表示：“技术性死亡交叉并非看起来的那样是决定性的致命一击。”
