获对冲基金大鳄阿克曼重仓押注 租车巨头赫兹(HTZ.US)单日暴涨逾56%
智通财经APP获悉，知名投资人比尔·阿克曼旗下潘兴广场资本管理公司大举入股赫兹租车(HTZ.US)，引发这家四年前完成破产重整的租车公司股价飙升。
周三，赫兹股价飙升逾56%，盘后续涨超35%，此前一份监管文件显示，截至2024年底，潘兴广场已持有赫兹4.1%股份。据知情人士透露，通过股票和衍生品交易，该机构持股比例已大幅增至19.8%，成为赫兹第二大股东。
知情人士表示，阿克曼的投资机构获得了美国证交会的豁免许可，得以延迟至周三才披露持仓信息，这使其能够大规模增持股份。
过去十年间，赫兹长期深陷经营困境，包括在2020年疫情期间宣告破产。
2021年完成破产重组后，该公司曾大举押注全电动汽车，特别是特斯拉(TSLA.US)车型，但因二手车残值暴跌蒙受数十亿美元损失。
今年2月公布的财报显示，赫兹2024年全年亏损达29亿美元，其中第四季度因处置电动汽车资产就造成2.45亿美元损失。
