Kinder Morgan Sees Specific Gains From South Korea, Indonesia, Mexico, EU Exports -- Market Talk

1828 ET - Kinder Morgan discloses how countries are responding to Trump's tariffs threats when it comes to U.S. natural gas exports. South Korea and Indonesia are already in specific discussions on increasing U.S. liquefied natural gas exports to improve their negotiation position regarding U.S. tariffs, CEO Kimberly Allen Dang says on a call with analysts. The European Union will also increase its use of U.S. LNG as it seems to be reluctant to ever again allow Russia to be the dominant supplier of natural gas to Europe, Dang says. In addition to growth in LNG feed gas demand, the company sees "nice upticks" in exports to Mexico, with power demand driven in part by the surge in AI and data centers and residential commercial use, the executive adds.
