沃尔沃集团（Volvo Group）发言人周五（4月18日）表示，由于市场不确定性和美国总统特朗普征收关税带来的需求担忧，沃尔沃集团计划在未来三个月内在美国三家工厂裁员多达800人。

沃尔沃集团北美公司在一份声明中说，该公司已告知员工，计划在宾夕法尼亚州马孔吉（Macungie）的马克卡车（Mack Trucks）工厂以及弗吉尼亚州都柏林（Dublin）和马里兰州哈格斯敦（Hagerstown）的两家沃尔沃集团工厂裁员550—800人。

据沃尔沃公司网站介绍，该公司隶属于瑞典沃尔沃公司，在北美拥有近2万名员工。

特朗普对来自世界各地的产品征收关税的计划颠覆了已实行了75年之久的全球贸易体系。他摇摆不定的贸易政策打击了消费者和企业的信心，导致经济学家提高了对美国经济衰退的预测。
