Still, with the decline in futures pricing over the past month, there's less economic incentive to bring new production online and less potential for gas-to-coal fuel switching in the power generation sector, Andy Huenefeld of Pinebrook Energy Advisors says in a note. "This dynamic exacerbates fundamental market risk in the coming months and could lead to lighter storage growth than initially expected this summer."
