韩国审计监查院周四表示，前总统文在寅的政府在近4年的时间里，伪造了房价、收入分配、就业等主要官方数据，让国民相信其房地产和经济政策是有效的。
该机构称，文在寅的总统办公室和国土交通部从2018年1月到2021年10月，共向国土交通部下属的公共机构韩国房地产委员会下达了102次命令，将每周和每月的房价上涨率向下调整或伪造统计数据，使其看起来像是房地产政策已经生效。
韩国审计监查院还指出，在收入分配和雇佣领域，为了掩盖收入差距扩大和非正规职位增加的负面影响，伪造官方数据的现象也很普遍。
韩国审计监查院在上周四完成对文在寅执政期间涉嫌伪造数据的调查报告后，披露了上述内容。该机构于去年9月公布了中期调查结果，要求检察机关对Jang Ha-sung、Kim Su-hyun、Kim Sang-jo和Lee Ho-Seung等4名前总统政策室长和前国土交通部长官Kim Hyun-mi等22名前政府官员进行调查。
韩国审计监查院指出，文在寅的总统办公室和国土部要求土地自治区提前提供房价统计，违反了《统计法》，并12次拒绝土地自治区提出的停止提供要求。在公布统计报告之前共享统计数据是违反统计法的。
审计监查院特别指出，青瓦台和国土部不仅事先得到了统计数据，而且还对统计数据的调整施加了影响。
遏制房价飙升是文在寅的政策议程之一，导致当时的国土部实施了一系列激烈但有争议的房地产措施，包括对拥有多套住房的人征收高额税收。尽管政府努力打击所谓的房地产投机行为，但房价还是暴涨。
