贝壳董事会主席彭永东拟捐900万股A类普通股股份 部分用于应届毕业生等租客群体的租房帮扶
4月17日，贝壳控股有限公司（以下简称“贝壳”）发布自愿性公告称，已接到贝壳董事会主席、首席执行官及控股股东彭永东的通知，其拟捐赠900万股A类贝壳普通股，在承担相应的纳税义务后，50%税后资金将用于居住行业服务者及其家庭成员的医疗健康福利，50%税后资金将用于应届毕业生等租客群体的租房帮扶。
当前，贝壳平台上聚集了几十万多名居住行业服务者，包括房产交易经纪人、家装安装工、租赁管家等。贝壳组织内司龄超过10年的老员工已经有1.4万多。通过兜住居住行业服务者及其家庭成员的医疗健康风险，让这些服务者更有尊严地提供服务，更安心地工作，将有益于服务者长期执业以及为消费者提供更优质的服务。
在城市里开启租住生活，往往是应届毕业生从校园走向社会的第一步，贝壳董事会主席的捐赠将帮助应届毕业生等群体“租得起”“住得好”，缓解他们的住房问题，使他们能够更加专注于自身的发展和成长。
中国的新居住行业刚刚开始起步，全行业呼唤“有品质的服务，有品质的服务者”。一方面惠及居住行业服务者及其家庭成员，一方面惠及应届毕业生等租客群体，捐赠用途聚焦于居住服务行业本身，贝壳董事会主席的此次捐赠将助力居住行业向上、向善发展。
