Luma Energy said 58% of its electricity customers in Puerto Rico now have service following a major outage Wednesday.

The joint venture of Quanta Services and ATCO unit Canadian Utilities operates Puerto Rico's electric grid. Genera PR, a unit of New Fortress Energy, began a 10-year contract to manage the state-run Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority's power plants in 2023.

Luma's website recently indicated that 843,888 customers have service.
