Infosys (INFY) agreed to buy Australian cybersecurity company The Missing Link
The acquisition price was as much as 98 million Australian dollars ($61.7 million), according to media reports.
The acquisition is expected to close in the quarter ending June 30, Infosys said Thursday in a statement.
Separately, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries invested in the Infosys-led HIPUS joint venture in Japan.
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which has been a HIPUS client, bought a 2% stake in the venture, Infosys said Thursday in a statement. The deal is expected to close in the quarter ending June 30.
The stake was acquired for 150 million yen ($1.05 million), according to media reports.
HIPUS, in which Infosys has a majority stake, was established in 2019 to drive business process transformation for companies using digital procurement platforms.
Infosys shares fell 2% in recent Thursday trading.
