比推消息，据链上分析平台 Santiment 称，由于区块链上的活动量处于低谷，以太坊网络上的交易成本已降至五年来的最低水平。Santiment 营销总监 Brian Quinlivan 表示，以太坊网络费用目前约为每笔交易 0.168 美元，费用降低的同时，发送以 ETH 和与智能合约交互的人数也有所减少。当很多人使用以太坊时，用户会竞标更高的费用以使其交易更快得到确认，这推高了平均成本，而当交易人数减少时，用户无需竞标太高的费用。因此，平均费用就会下降。这本质上是一个供需系统。 Quinlivan 分析称，从交易角度来看，低费用可能会阻碍价格反弹；不过交易者似乎正在耐心等待全球经济不确定性过去，然后再增加以太坊和山寨币交易的频率。
