Nippon REIT Investment Seals Interest Rate Swap Deal to Hedge Loan Risk

Nippon REIT Investment (TYO:3296) has finalized an interest rate swap agreement for 1.3 billion yen in borrowings to mitigate interest rate fluctuation risks, according to its Thursday bourse filing.

The five-year, four-month agreement with SBI Shinsei Bank fixes Nippon REIT's payable rate at 1.096%.

Meanwhile, it will receive floating rates tied to Japanese Yen TIBOR, matching Loan No. 097's terms from April 21, 2025, to August 20, 2030.
