路透旧金山4月17日 - 根据路透看到的一份备忘录，英特尔INTC.O新任首席执行官陈立武正在精简该公司的领导团队，重要的芯片组将直接向他汇报。
备忘录显示，英特尔还提拔网络芯片主管Sachin Katti担任首席技术官兼人工智能主管。
这是陈立武上个月上任后，首次对领导层进行重大调整。英特尔的数据中心、人工智能芯片组、以及个人电脑芯片组将直接向陈立武汇报。
陈立武在备忘录中写道：“我想与工程和产品团队一起卷起袖子开始行动，以便了解加强我们的解决方案所需要的东西。”
根据该备忘录，Katti将接替即将从英特尔退休的Greg Lavender。
**专注于技术**
陈立武曾公开表示，他的目标是减少公司的管理层级，使行政领导层与工程师的合作更加紧密。
近年来，英特尔的高管团队中包括了许多业务部门的领导人，而技术领导人与CEO之间往往隔了好几个层级。陈立武在备忘录中说，三位长期担任技术主管的人以后将直接向他汇报工作。
他在备忘录中写道：“这将支持我们侧重于成为一家专注于以工程为主的公司，并使我了解竞争和取胜所需的条件。”
“我很清楚，组织的复杂性和官僚程序已经慢慢窒息了我们取胜所需的创新文化，”他在备忘录中说：“做决策时太过耗时，新想法没有孵化的空间和资源。不必要的各自为政导致执行效率低下。”(完)
