Netflix shares rose after hours as the streaming giant said price hikes and subscription growth generated earnings ahead of Wall Street estimates.
A federal judge ruled that Alphabet's Google created an illegal monopoly that allowed it to control parts of the online advertising industry, in a surprise decision that could up-end the industry.
Amazon.com, "When large numbers of first-party/third-party sellers and small-and-midsize businesses could be adversely impacted by China tariffs...there are ripple effects in the digital ad markets," said strategists at brokerage Morgan Stanley.
