Wangneng Environment (SHE:002034) plans to invest 507.4 million yuan to expand an incineration plant and a waste treatment center, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange filing on Friday.
The Anji Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Power Generation Plant will process 750 tons per day, and the Zhoushan Food Waste Treatment Center will process 100 tons of catering waste and 200 tons of kitchen waste per day, the Chinese environmental protection company said.
The company's shares closed over 2% lower.
