特斯拉公司CEO马斯克表示，在与印度总理莫迪交谈后，他期待在今年晚些时候访问印度，暗示这家电动车制造商推进进军全球人口最多国家的计划可能取得进展。

　　马斯克周六在社交媒体平台X上提到了这一访问计划。这位亿万富翁企业家原定于一年前访问印度，但因当时特斯拉存在紧急事务，他在最后一刻推迟了行程。

　　对这位亿万富翁企业家来说，今年的访问正值关键时刻。马斯克旗下公司特斯拉、星链和X在全球以及在印度都面临着日益严峻的挑战。

　　随着电动车市场竞争日趋激烈，特斯拉急需开拓新市场，而印度凭借其不断壮大的中产阶级以及政府对清洁交通的大力推动，自然成为特斯拉重点瞄准的目标市场。特斯拉早已有意进入印度市场，但因在进口关税及本地制造承诺方面存在分歧，相关进展受阻。

　　与此同时，马斯克正推动其在印度的其他业务。他的卫星互联网业务星链近期宣布与Bharti Airtel和Reliance Jio达成合作。这些合作有望将基于卫星的宽带服务带入印度欠发达的农村地区，与印度政府推动数字普惠的整体战略高度契合。

　　不过，马斯克与印度当局的关系依然错综复杂。X目前仍就内容审查问题陷入与印度政府的争端。
