Mongolian Mining (HKG:0975) reported a 3% yearly rise in raw coal production to 3.67 million tonnes in Q1, though output remained flat compared to the previous quarter, according to its Wednesday bourse filing.
The company processed 3.75 million tonnes into 2.11 million tonnes of washed coking coal, marking a slight 2% annual decline but a modest quarterly improvement.
Sales of premium coal products fell to 1.6 million tonnes, down 3% from last year and 15% from Q4 2024, with hard coking coal making up the bulk of shipments.
