Financial stocks were declining premarket Thursday, with The Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) 0.4% lower.
The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 1.6% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 1.2% higher.
Ameriprise Financial (AMP) shares were up over 2% after the company reported higher Q1 adjusted operating earnings and revenue in addition to increasing its quarterly cash dividend by 8%.
