Galapagos (GLPG) said Monday that CEO Paul Stoffels plans to retire upon the appointment of a successor within the next 12 months.
The board appointed Henry Gosebruch as CEO of its XYZ SpinCo unit, which will separate from the company and be funded with about 2.45 billion euros ($2.82 billion) in cash and cash equivalents, Galapagos said.
Gosebruch most recently served as CEO of Neumora (NMRA), according to the company.
