Dollar Tree (DLTR) said Thursday it plans to build a new distribution center in Marietta, Oklahoma, replacing the facility that was destroyed by a tornado in April 2024.

The company said it expects the one-million-square-foot center to be fully operational by spring 2027. It will have the capacity to serve 700 stores across the West and Southwest US.

The distribution center would also bring back about 400 jobs to the Marietta community, it added.

Shares of Dollar Tree were down over 2% in recent trading.
