Seacon Shipping Group (HKG:2409) unit Seacon Shipping has procured TSUNEISHI GROUP (ZHOUSHAN) SHIPBUILDING to build a 63,300 deadwight tonnage bulk carrier for a little over $38.3 million, a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The vessel is expected to be delivered on April 30, 2027.
The move comes amid plans of the shipping company to optimize its vessel fleet.
