路透4月23日 - 赌场运营商拉斯维加斯金沙LVS.N周三公布的第一季度利润超出分析师预期，原因是其新加坡业务的强劲需求抵消了澳门市场增长的停滞。
该公司称，在当前环境下，澳门的市场增长已经放缓，本季度澳门业务的收入从去年同期的18.1亿美元降至17.1亿美元。
然而，该公司在新加坡的业务收入却从之前的 11.5 亿美元增至 11.6 亿美元。
"首席执行官罗伯特-戈德斯坦（Robert Goldstein）说："随着亚洲旅行和旅游消费的增长，我们的新套餐产品和提升的服务将为我们带来更多的增长。
自前几个季度以来，这家总部位于内华达州拉斯维加斯的公司在澳门的综合度假村和赌场业务增长一直在放缓，其中包括澳门威尼斯人酒店，该酒店一直是公司净收入的主要贡献者。
