Alphabet's Google Cloud, Palantir Launch FedStart Collaboration

Alphabet (GOOG) said Wednesday that Google Public Sector and Palantir Technologies (PLTR) are collaborating to launch FedStart on Google Cloud.

Google Cloud's integration with FedStart, which empowers US government agencies with compliance, scalability, and access to critical solutions from independent software vendors, will accelerate innovation, Vice President of Technology, Delivery and Operations, Google Public Sector Leigh Palmer said in a blog.

Additionally, the partnership will give independent software vendors a faster path to accreditation and impact.

At launch, Anthropic's Claude for Enterprise application will be available to federal government agencies through Palantir FedStart on Google Cloud.

Shares of Google were up 3.5% in recent trading.
