Nippon Prologis REIT Prepays 2 Billion Yen of Short-Term Loans

Nippon Prologis REIT (TYO:3283) will prepay 2 billion yen of its 11 billion yen short-term loans on May 1, following a previous 4 billion yen prepayment in March.

The loans, originally borrowed from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp., MUFG Bank, and Mizuho Bank at JBA 1-month TIBOR + 0.15%, were set to mature on Dec. 2, according to its Wednesday bourse filing.

The prepayment will be funded through new borrowings, with details to be disclosed later.

The remaining loan balance after prepayment will be 5 billion yen.
