Monash IVF Says Brisbane Clinic Incident Not Expected to Impact Share Price; Shares Rise 7%

Monash IVF Group (ASX:MVF) said that the incident at its Brisbane clinic, where an embryo was mistakenly implanted into the wrong patient, resulting in the birth of a child, will not have a material impact on share price, according to a response to an ASX Aware letter filed on Wednesday.

The company said in response to a letter from the ASX that the incident is an isolated incident of human error.

MVF confirmed that an internal investigation is ongoing.

Shares of the company rose 7% in recent Wednesday trade.
