The cumulative sales of Hyundai Motor's (KRX:005380) Palisade SUV surpassed 500,000 in the US, with 506,425 units sold since its 2019 debut.
Just last year, the US accounted for two-thirds of the Palisade's global sales of 165,745 units. The second-generation model is slated for release later in 2025, Yonhap News reported Friday.
Hyundai targets US growth by expanding its SUV lineup, as SUVs dominated first-quarter sales, accounting for 78% or 3.12 million units, the report said.
