Wang Dongjin has ceased to be CNOOC's (HKG:0883, SHA:600938) chairman and a non-executive director effective Wednesday due to a change in appointment, a same-day Hong Kong bourse filing said.
Vice Chairman Zhou Xinhuai will preside over the work of the board until a new chairman is named.
