--A new holding company for the truck unit is expected to list on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Prime market, Nikkei reported.
--The merger agreement could be finalized as early as May, with the listing taking place in April of next year, the report said.
--Hino Motors is a unit of Toyota Motors, and Fuso Truck and Bus is a subsidiary of Daimler Truck, according to Nikkei.
