4月23日午间消息，麦当劳中国宣布麦辣系列回归手工裹粉，麦辣鸡腿汉堡和麦辣鸡翅恢复餐厅现场裹粉制作。麦当劳中国首席执行官张家茵表示，“过去几年，我们在很多餐厅尝试了供应商裹粉的麦辣，希望简化餐厅的营运程序，但许多顾客和员工都提到，想念金黄酥脆的鳞片，想念手工裹粉背后的热爱与坚持。我们深知，美味是麦当劳的根本，顾客的需求是我们前进的动力。通过产品测试、设备改造、员工培训等一系列筹备，我们目前已在全国绝大部分餐厅恢复了手工裹粉的麦辣产品，以此回应消费者对我们的热爱。”
