京东证实“刘强东亲自送外卖”：感谢关注与支持
4月21日，有网友在社交平台晒出与京东创始人刘强东的合影。
该网友发文称，“接到了东哥送的第一单外卖，荣幸啊，也算享受过千亿大佬的服务啦，祝京东生意红红火火，蒸蒸日上！”
其还在评论区留言：“没洗头，衣服也邋邋遢遢的，差点让东哥外卖放门口。”
照片中刘强东身穿京东外卖骑手工服，手持外卖，疑似亲自参与京东外卖的一线配送服务。
随后，京东方面回应称属实，感谢大家对京东外卖的关注与支持。
4月9日，蔚来创始人李斌晒出与京东创始人刘强东一起吃外卖的合影。
李斌表示：“蔚来ET9上市后，强东总问我，什么时候能给他看车。到京东总部的时候正赶上午饭时间，我们先吃了一顿京东外卖，吃得挺好。”
“我问强东，京东搞外卖是认真的吗？他说，必须的，京东要做父母、孩子、客人都能放心吃的品质外卖。以后点外卖就点京东外卖。”
2月11日，京东宣布京东外卖上线，并启动“品质堂食餐饮商家”招募，2025年5月1日前入驻的商家，全年免佣金。
3月20日，京东外卖宣布，目前已与超10000名全职骑手签署正式劳动合同，正逐步落实五险一金的缴纳工作。
3月24日，京东外卖宣布，上线40天，日订单量已突破100万。
