Uber Technologies (UBER) is in discussions to buy Turkish food delivery platform Trendyol Go, Bloomberg News reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The talks could end without a deal, the unnamed sources told the news outlet.
Trendyol Go is run by Turkish e-commerce platform Trendyol Group, which is majority owned by China's Alibaba Group (BABA), according to the report.
Uber, Alibaba, and Trendyol Group did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
Uber shares were down 1.7% in recent premarket activity Monday, while Alibaba rose 1.1%.
