智通财经APP获悉，经络按揭转介研究部最新数据显示，3月经络按揭息率指数(MMI)，即反映普遍按揭新客户一般可做到的实际按息水平，最新报3.51%，月环比跌3点子。经络按揭转介首席副总裁曹德明表示，现时普遍银行新造H按及P按的按息维持3.5%不变，使MMI继续徘徊3.5%水平。
曹德明指，美国新政府政策变动，对美国以至环球经济的影响存在很大不确定性，不过美国最新3月消费者物价指数(CPI)报2.4%，核心CPI报2.8%，两个数据均低于市场预期，此外，失业率略升。相信美联储将会审视通胀、就业数据走势及关税影响，如通胀持续回落及失业率上升，美联储最快于年中或之后将进行减息。
香港方面，今日一个月HIBOR报3.7%，连升2日，曹德明料一个月HIBOR将继续徘徊3.5%至4%水平区间。预计香港银行会跟随美国息口走势而决定是否调整最优惠利率(P)。
