欧洲央行行长克里斯蒂娜-拉加德周二在IMF-世界银行春季会议期间明确表态，希望美国总统特朗普不要解雇美联储主席鲍威尔。
当被问及此事是否构成市场重大风险时，拉加德表示：“我衷心希望不会发生．．．这不该成为现实威胁。”
面对媒体记者的追问，拉加德拒绝就“假设情景”的市场影响发表评论，强调自己坚信此事“不在考虑范围内”。
近期特朗普持续施压鲍威尔降息，警告否则将导致经济放缓；而鲍威尔上周反击称贸易战可能同时抑制增长和推高通胀，并重申美联储将保持政策耐心。
值得注意的是，尽管鲍威尔由特朗普在首个总统任期内提名，但白宫正研究能否在法律层面提前罢免这位任期至2026年的美联储掌门人。拉加德对此意味深长地表示：“我们（央行行长）都习惯了各种形式的政治压力。”
“我对鲍威尔的工作充满敬意，他始终以使命为指南针，恪尽职守地履行职能。”拉加德说，“就像我一样，他明白央行的法定职责才是最高准则。”
