Mercury NZ (NZE:MCY, ASX:MCY) appointed senior energy executive Catherine Thompson as chief sustainability officer, effective July 28, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
Thompson held executive-level roles at Contact Energy (NZE:CEN, ASX:CEN) and Manawa Energy (NZE:MNW). She will succeed Lucie Drummond.
