IonQ (IONQ) said Wednesday it is entering Japan's quantum market through a distributor partnership with Toyota Tsusho.
The financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
The collaboration to bring the company's quantum computing technologies to Japan is a "pivotal step" in its worldwide expansion, IonQ said.
The company's shares rose 4.7% in recent trading.
