Dominic Hunter has assumed Smith-Midland's top finance job, effective April 17.
The Midland, Va., concrete company said Wednesday that Hunter, 62, who has over 20 years of financial leadership experience, will lead its financial functions including accounting, treasury, financial reporting and investor relations.
He will additionally help shape the company's long-term financial strategy and capital allocation efforts.
Prior to joining Smith-Midland, Hunter was chief financial officer of iVenture Accounting Group. He also held leadership roles at companies including VersaTech, The O'Gara Group, Cyberpoint International and SRA International.
