Boeing (BA) is in advanced discussions to sell its Jeppesen navigation unit to private-equity firm Thoma Bravo, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

A deal could be announced later in the week, the unnamed sources told the news outlet.

Blackstone (BX), Carlyle Group (CG), Veritas Capital, Warburg Pincus, and Advent are among the private-equity firms that were interested in buying Jeppesen for $6 billion to $8 billion, Bloomberg reported in January.

Boeing and Thoma Bravo did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
