DroneShield (ASX:DRO) reported Tuesday that its revenue for the first quarter of 2025 clocked in at AU$33.5 million, 102% higher than the AU$16.6 million it reported in the year-earlier quarter.
The company added that it has either received AU$94.4 million of revenue already or is under committed purchase orders for delivery in the current year.
The firm expects software updates to play an increasing role and to increase the recurring revenue of the business. Its software-as-a-service revenue for the quarter came in at AU$1.7 million, 198% higher than the AU$561,000 it reported in the same period a year earlier.
