路透4月21日 - AlphabetGOOGL.O旗下谷歌周一面临一场历史性审判，美国反垄断执法人员试图迫使这家科技巨头出售其 Chrome 浏览器，以恢复在线搜索引擎市场的竞争。
该审判结果可能会从根本上重塑互联网，谷歌作为在线信息门户的地位可能被取代。
谷歌表示将对该案的最终裁决提出上诉。
美国司法部和38个州检察长组成的联盟提出了影响深远的措施，旨在迅速开放搜索市场并为新竞争者提供优势。
他们的提议包括终止谷歌每年向苹果AAPL.O和其他设备供应商支付数十亿美元、以使谷歌成为其平板电脑和智能手机默认搜索引擎的排他性协议。此外，谷歌还必须向竞争对手授权搜索结果。如果其他补救措施无法恢复竞争，谷歌将被迫出售其Android移动操作系统。
检察官表示，他们期待听取证词，说明谷歌与移动设备默认搜索引擎的协议如何阻碍了人工智能公司的推广。Perplexity AI 和 OpenAI 的证人预计将出庭作证。
谷歌认为这些提议过于极端。该公司称其一直通过向Mozilla等浏览器开发商付费来维持其默认搜索引擎的地位，切断这种资金支持可能会威胁到这些浏览器开发商的生存。
