摩通在报告中预计，到今年第四季，黄金均价将达到3675美元，明年第二季料将超过4000美元；若需求超出预期，则存在提前突破以上预测水平的风险。支撑预估明年金价将迈向4000美元的原因是投资者和央行持续强劲的黄金需求。今年平均每季度净需求约为710吨。摩通表示，就黄金的潜在看跌因素而言，央行需求意外下降仍是最大的基本面风险。另外，监于工业需求的不确定性，近期白银将面临更大的阻力，年底白银价格势将升向每盎斯39美元。
